After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Forest and Environmental Technologies at the University of Padua, I graduated in Forest Systems Science and Technology in winter 2025, with an experimental thesis in vegetation ecology, focusing on the forest soil seed bank in actively managed and abandoned Turkey oak coppice forests. I continued this line of research through a six-month PNRR-funded research grant at the PlantDive_Lab (DAGRI), during which I contributed to the preparation of two scientific manuscripts and a conference contribution for a meeting organized by the Italian Botanical Society.
Through these experiences and close collaboration with researchers at the PlantDive_Lab, I developed expertise in field sampling protocols and in the processing and analysis of floristic and vegetation data aimed at investigating ecological and environmental changes. In particular, I focused on the analysis of the composition, structure, and ecological-functional profiles of understory communities, in relation to their role as bioindicators.
My research interests lie at the intersection of vegetation ecology, forest management, and biodiversity conservation, with the aim of improving our understanding of the functional dynamics of forest ecosystems.
