Possibility to apply for two-month extension of the doctoral scholarship and the correspondent postponement of the thesis submission deadline

The Legislative Decree of 19 May 2020, published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale  n ° 34 chapter IX - University and research measures Art. 236 (https://www.gazzettaufficiale.it/static / 20200519_128_ SO_ 021.pdf), reports the possibility for PhD students of the XXXIII cycle, due to CoVid19 lockdown, to request the extension of the scholarship for two months in order to be able to complete the thesis scheduled activity. The  thesis submission deadline  is postponed to   31^th December 2020.

For those students who do not apply for the scholarship extension the thesis submission the deadline is 31^th October 2020.

The thesis discussion is thus scheduled within:

April 2021 for the students who will submitt the thesis on  31October 2020

June 2021 for the students who will submit the thesis on  31December 2020

Students' mobility fund eligible expenses

For the year 2020 it is possible for the students of the XXXIII cycle to use the mobility fund, an additional budget equal to 10% of the doctoral scholarship, also for expenses other than the pure annual operating cost.

In the case of depreciable goods the spending limit of 516.46 euros (excluding VAT) has been repealed. However, all expenses must be aimed to student's training and research activities.
