  • Daniel Ronca, born on 30/10/1998 in Florence (FI), obtained a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florence with a grade of 110/110 cum laude on 10/07/2020 with a thesis entitled "Development of new sustainable cultivation systems: the aeroponic model".
  •  On 21/02/2024 he obtained the master’s degree in biotechnology for Environmental Management and Sustainable Agriculture (BIOEMSA) at the University of Florence with a grade of 110/110 cum laude and Dignity of Printing with a thesis entitled "Optimisation of energy requirements of Phaeodactylum tricornutum UTEX 640 and Tetraselmis suecica F&M-M33 cultures through the integration of photovoltaic mimicking materials in GWP®-III photobioreactors".
  • From May 2024 to October 2024, he was a research fellow at the Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Forestry Sciences and Technologies (DAGRI) of the University of Florence with studies on the improvement of the photosynthetic efficiency of outdoor microalgal cultures.
  •  On 01/11/2024 he began his activity as a student of the PhD course in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Florence as part of the “AlfaFuels” project.
