Chiara Capelli obtained in 2020 her bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at the Department of Experimental Medicine at the University of Genoa, with a thesis entitled “Methods and techniques for sustainable remediation. Preparation of a co-inoculated metalliferous soil for integrated phytoremediation”.
In 2023 she obtained a master’s degree in Biotechnology for Environmental Management and Sustainable Agriculture at the Department of Agriculture at the University of Florence. The thesis was entitled “Cyanobacteria producing exopolysaccharides for the removal of heavy metals: from artificial solutions to galvanic wastewater”.
She is currently attending the Ph.D. course in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in the Department of Agricultural, Food, Environmental and Forestry Sciences and Technologies (DAGRI) at the University of Florence.
